DIY Graduation Photo Banner

It’s graduation season! Celebrate the graduate in your life with a photo banner. Display their yearly school pictures from Kindergarten through graduation as part of your graduation party decor. It’s a fun way to see the graduate over the years and is so simple to put together. It’s sure to be the highlight of your decorations!

You will need:

First cut out your photo labels from the black cardstock. We made our labels about 3.5″ x 2.5″ to work with 4″ x 6″ photos but you can adjust the size to work with whatever photos you want to use. If you want to give the labels a chalkboard look, rub the cardstock with chalk and then partially wipe it off with a paper towel. Use chalk or a chalk marker to write each label.

Next glue a clothespin to the back of each label.

Clip them onto the twine and now you’re ready to clip on your photos and hang your garland.

We stuck with a black and gold theme but you can customize with your grad’s school colors. Find the black and gold decorations we used here.
