Growing up, it was always kinda a bummer to sit at the kids’ table on Thanksgiving. We missed out on all the hot gossip and were placed in such a weird part of the room. But with these easy DIY mini paper lantern turkeys, the kids’ table can be a more fun, colorful, enjoyable space this holiday!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Felt sheets for the feathers, beak, and wattle
- mini paper lanterns in brown
- scissors
- hot glue gun

Begin by cutting out the turkey tail feathers. I put five on each turkey. Then hot glue them to the back bottom of each paper lantern. Next, create a little face for your turkey.

Once they’re done, simply spread them around -make a centerpiece with them, place one on each plate, turn into a place card…
Ok, now who’s craving mashed potatoes and gravy??
