Mother’s Day Buckets

Need a creative Mother’s Day present? My husband and daughters did this gift for me last year, and I thought I could replicate it.

Do you remember making Acrostic poems in elementary school? (An acrostic poem is where the first letters of each line spell out a word or phrase).

For this gift, they got me treats that start with each letter in MOTHER. Here’s a list of ideas (candy and non-candy) you can use for each letter:
M – M&M’s, Mars Bar, Milky Way, Milk Duds, Mike & Ikes, Manicure gift card, mascara, mirror, makeup
O – oreos, Oh Henry, gummy Orange slices, Opi Nail Polish, oatmeal cookies, oven mitts
T – Twix, Tootsie Rolls, Twizzlers, tweezers, tissues
H – Heath Bar, Hersheys, Hot Tamales, highlighter makeup, highlighter markers
E – English toffee, Everlasting Gobstoppers, Eclipse gum, eyeshadow, eyelash curler
R – Raisnets, Razzles, Reeses, Red Vines, Red Hots, Ring pops, Root Beer,

Here’s my version:
You’ll need six of these pink favor buckets, gold glitter letters that spell out MOTHER, paper shreds to fill the buckets, and tape (or clothespins).

Fill the buckets with the paper shreds and tape (or clothespin) each letter to the buckets. Place the gifts inside of the buckets and you’re done!

This is such a fun way to be creative with your mom’s gift!!

Happy Mother’s Day!!!
