Creating a backdrop with tissue paper flowers adds a beautiful pop of color and texture to any event or as home decor. And with a kit of coordinating colored tissue paper flowers, ready to simply fluff and then arrange, it doesn’t get much easier than this!
Below is a video we created that shows how to simply assemble a tissue flower. Watch this first:)
When assembling a wall of these flowers, once all of your tissue flowers are made, then do some practice arranging. I like to arrange the largest ones first, then start filling in with the medium and small flowers. I like the look of the flowers very close together, even overlapping a little -but there is no rule, so pace however you’d like.
To attach the flowers to the wall, there are a few different options to choose from. Each assembled tissue flower comes with a ribbon attached to the back. You can use this ribbon to help hang up the flowers, whether by pinning the ribbon to the wall, or using tape. To protect your wall, you may want to use painters tape. Using additional little tape rolls to hold up each flower helps them flat against the wall.
Another option is to arrange all of the flowers onto a board and then hanging the board on the wall, or prop against wall on a table.
